Within each of us is a source of strength, mental clarity and peace. The highest purpose of Yoga is to help us find this inner peace. The practice of Yoga encourages relaxation, increased range of motion, improved balance, enhanced concentration, and better posture.

Our experienced, and caring instructors provide personalized attention, encouraging you to develop your practice at your own pace. Our instructors incorporate a blend of many styles of Yoga, each drawing from their own unique training and life experiences. All Dragonfly instructors teach from the heart, giving each student individual care and attention while offering a safe and nurturing environment, whatever your personal goals or physical limitations.

“Yoga 101” Workshop

This two-hour workshop is an introduction to Yoga. This is the perfect starting point for anyone new to Yoga or for those seeking to review the basics. We will explore basic postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques that make up a Yoga practice.

You will learn how Yoga can…

  • Bring you balance, flexibility and strength;
  • Safely assist you after injury or during illness;
  • Turn stress into calmness;
  • And so much more!

At the conclusion of “Yoga 101″ students will be prepared to enter most Beginner and Open level classes with confidence. Everyone can participate in Yoga. All you need is the willingness and spirit to try.

The “Yoga 101″ registration fee is $35 and includes the following:
  1. Two hour workshop.
  2. Guest Pass to participate in any Dragonfly Yoga class during the following month.
  3. Gift Certificate for $10 off any Spa service.

Gentle Chair & Floor Yoga

Led by Jan Lightner, Gentle Chair & Floor Yoga is a therapeutic and restorative practice designed for those students seeking to improve their balance, flexibility, range of motion and stamina in a more supportive class structure. Class is done in a combination of chair, standing, and floor postures as may be appropriate for each student.

This class is also well suited for those with acute or chronic conditions, including arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer, weight related problems, and anxiety. Let go of tension while safely learning to promote health and wellness through a gentle Yoga practice.

Special Needs Yoga

Special Needs Yoga, led by Jan Lightner, is a therapeutic yoga practice including more individual attention.  It is designed for those with a wide variety of health conditions and concerns.  In this class you will use supported props to help induce relaxation and lessen stress while allowing the muscles to stretch and strengthen assisting with circulation, digestion and breathing.

This course is good for those who suffer from:
