“Yoga 101” Workshop
This two-hour workshop is an introduction to Yoga. This is the perfect starting point for anyone new to Yoga or for those seeking to review the basics. We will explore basic postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques that make up a Yoga practice.
You will learn how Yoga can…
- Bring you balance, flexibility and strength;
- Safely assist you after injury or during illness;
- Turn stress into calmness;
- And so much more!
At the conclusion of “Yoga 101″ students will be prepared to enter most Beginner and Open level classes with confidence. Everyone can participate in Yoga. All you need is the willingness and spirit to try.
The “Yoga 101″ registration fee is $35 and includes the following:
- Two hour workshop.
- Guest Pass to participate in any Dragonfly Yoga class during the following month.
- Gift Certificate for $10 off any Spa service.

- No Yoga 101 scheduled for July at this time

- Saturday, September 17th, Yoga 101, 11-1 pm, Katie Young
- Saturday, October 15th, Yoga 101, 1-3 pm, Jan Lightner
- No Yoga 101 scheduled for November at this time
- December: No Workshops offered
Pre-registration is required. Please call to register early, class size is limited. “Yoga 101″ is a one-time offer to each student. Free classes do not include special schedules or other workshops and events.

Are you still having yoga classes. I did not see 2011 class schedule on your web site.
I am interested in an intorductory YOGA workshop. Your website shows 2010 dates but not 2011 dates. I am looking for a class after 5pm or on a weekend day ASAP.

I am very sorry for the late reply but our website has not been functional for some time. We now have it fixed and plan to update it this week. I hope you were able to find a course you were looking for but we are holding our next Yoga 101 course on June 11th from 11-1 if you are interested. I am very interested in starting Yoga. Every source I have read says this would be a good fit for my excercise program. My problem is I am not availble in September or October on the dates you have set for Yoga 101. Would you consider offering another class in September? Also, Saturdays are generally not good for me but evenings work out well.

We are excited to hear that you are looking into our Yoga classes, and do apologize that those dates don’t work for you. What you could do is maybe come into our open level Yoga class that we have maybe on Monday at 630 pm or Tuesday at 6 pm, and try it out. You could come in a little early and speak with one of the instructor if that you would like to. Right now we probably wont have any different dates for the Yoga 101, and again we do apologize.
